Just wanted to hear some feedback from anyone who may have one of the model 12 with the 26"long stainless fluted barrel in 300 wsm. Im going to be rebarreling my little model 11 with the 24" sporter barrel with a fluted stainless model 12 takeoff barrel i got from jim at northland shooters. Didnt really want to wait the long lead time for a custom barrel for a hunting rifle. I figured these would probably be a significant improvement over the thin sporter barrel on it now . This is just going to be a deer rifle with occational target use.
