Sounds like you'll need to swap out bolt heads for a non mag or .223. I think any mag bolt face cartridge will give you more recoil than you want.Hi guys. i have a savage long action sitting here that im wanting to build a wildcat off of.
it was a 7mm rem mag at one time. so it has the mag bolt face already on it.
however i dont need that big of a cartrige anymore. and was wanting to build a wildcat 6mm out of it. what would you suggest that i could build to keep the mag bolt head but in 6mm ? and still take advantage out of the long action ? really wanting something will hardly any recoil
