Savage 6BR barrel shot out

Several of my Midrange F-Class shooters have purchased the Savage 6BR F-Class rifles. For the money, they have been very good rifles.

One of these shooters has only 670 rounds through his barrel and it is shot out. The barrel throat measures 2.915' with a stoney oal tool. It increased .015' after jsut 65 rounds at a match.

Has anyone else experienced this rapid wear in the factory barrels?

There must be a problem with that barrel, pretty hard to wreck a 6br thats barely broke in........ I would contact the factory about it....
