Does the firing pin reset on the bolt lift or does it reset when it’s in the rearward position hitting on that stop (or whatever it’s called-sorry not a gunsmith). Swapped the factory stock for a McMillan Hunter Stock and the firing pin doesn’t always reset, when it does not reset the stop also does not pop up so essentially the bolt comes right out. I’ve tried a number of things, including shaving the inside of th stock where there were wear marks, shaved the bottom of the internal blind magazine, played with the torque on the action screws. Nothing has worked.
