Savage 12 F Class for JoyPod use

I am looking a buying a savage f class 6br but I want to use my existing Joypod instead of buying a new front rest. I can't see where there is a section of rail on this stock. Has anyone had success in making a modification that would work?

You can mill a slot and mount an anchutz/freeland rail to use the standard Joypod rail attachment, or bolt a section of picatinny rail to the stock.

Is there enough solid wood there. Haven't actually seen it, but I hear it is vented.

@jsthntn247 used a Savage Fclass stock with a Joypod. Worked well.

Yep. Mill the fore end and add a rail.
