Different stock styles

I’m thinking of building a dedicated F-class rifle from the ground up, and a trying to learn as much as I can about the different stock styles. What characteristics make for a great F-class stock in your opinion? Does it differ substantially from a BR stock? I’ll be shooting open class and using a Joypod for front rest, and Bigfoot rear bag from Seb for the rear. Thanks for any insight guys!

Cerus and McMillan Kestros seem to be the most popular at the big matches. I have a X-Ring (Robertson pattern) wood stock, no longer made, but have a McMillan Kestros ZR on order for another Open build. I chose the Kestros over the Cerus due McMillan being able to perform a near complete inlet for my action as well as having the durability of the gelcoat finish (both minor points). You can't go wrong with either. Of course the LR 20 shot record was shattered by and the LR National championship won by Norm Harold shooting with a Kestros. That might have influenced my decision a teensy tiny bit ;):D.
