Savage 112 magnum target 338 lapua

Does this action have the same threads as the large shank savage 12 actions? What bolt heads will fit it? I’ve got a buddy about to buy one and was wondering if he could swap calibers easily or if this action had its own thread size and bolt head

I'm made to understand we need the 10/110 112 magnum bolt heads which have a larger shank size. PTG does have some, but I've only seen the 338L and 300Win Mag case head sizes.

Yes it's a bigger bolt body and I believe it's only magnum and Lapua mag. Don't think you'll get a proper fitting 223 or 308 bolt face for a do all.

Bolt Body is .690 in diameter. And the Receiver is approx. 10" in length. 1.350 in diameter Receiver, and uses Large Shank Savage barrels.
