I bought one fall of last year. Since then i have bought two more to use the actions and stock for other builds. I haven't found a load the 112 likes as well as my 110 BA 338, but it is a solid rifle for $875ish (right now there is a $100 MIR, so $775 really). It does kick quite a bit more than a 110 BA, it has a smaller break and weighs less. I am planning on putting mercury recoil reducers in the stock at some point. All in all i am happy with the 112 target magnum.
I don't see why it wouldn't work in the 112 action. The 28 nosler is smaller than the 338 LM in all dimensions if i recall correctly. Know there are 26 nosler prefits now. Probably won't be long till there are 28 nosler prefits, if they aren't already available. Thanks for the information. I was actually thinking to possibly use the action for a 28 Nosler build. Do you know if that would work?

By the way, where are you finding them for $875ish? Thanks again for the info.I bought one fall of last year. Since then i have bought two more to use the actions and stock for other builds. It's simple to change the 112 magnum over to other calibers. Replace the Lapua bolt head with a "standard" magnum bolt head and adjust the firing pin length to coincide with the magnum bolt head length. Magnum bolt head locking lugs are approx. 1/16"shorter than the Lapua lugs. Standard caliber bolt head lugs are approx. 1/16" shorter than the "magnum"Thanks for the information. I was actually thinking to possibly use the action for a 28 Nosler build. Do you know if that would work? I was thinking a person could just change out the bolt head. Or is there more to it than that?
