Savage 110 center feed blind mag.

I have a 110 action center feed with blind mag. How would one go about turning this into a single shot style. I use this one for
F tr class it’s a 308.
thanks

I just purchased four of the SSS single shot sleds and have to say they work fine. On one center feed blind mag I took the spring out of the mag and used it to hold the sled up against the action. This works but you can press the sled down and potentially get it out of place. On the second gun I epoxied it in position but I only cleaned the action, I didn't abraid it and the epoxy failed to stick. So I cleaned off the epoxy and I built a wooden spacer to fill the mag well and that held up best.

As for how they work, they work perfectly. I did ask for one for a 223 and it was slightly different in shape, so be sure to ask specifically for a 223 if that's your intended use. And the one's in the 6.5 CM and 308 Win also work just fine with no feed issues.

Just insert a single shot follower. You are go to go. Been using mine for 10 years. Tommy Remove the spring and fill the void with anything you have . Foam works well.

I got one from SSS for my bench rifle build.
Not going to have a magazine, so will be bedded with the action to the stock.
Although i'm finding it a snug fit to the action to begin with.

I used a piece of hard foam. Removed the spring and follower cut a piece of foam and inserted it where the spring and follower used to be. Works great for me as a single shot.
