Savage 11 from tupperware to wood?

I got my wife a Savage .260 for Christmas (accu trigger, bottom bolt release, tupperware black stock - Trophy Hunter XP I think). I couldn't find a "Lady Hunter" anywhere after American Hunter ran the article (I am a .260 fan anyway) and the recoil is manageable for her- she shot it well! She needs a 2 inch shorter length of pull and I figured a well done Boyds laminate (bedded nicely of course) would do, BUT!!!! Bottom metal or plastic for the magazine needed is my question. I would like to keep the stock magazine configuration.

If it was a Rem I could figure it out. No problem, but there were no Remingtons to be found due to the trigger recall. I am pretty far from larger g/s or the bigger retailers. I do deal with Brownells.

Any help will be appreciated! Thank you

I would contact Boyd's as that can get really confusing. I am going to guess that your model currently in the tupperware is a hinged floor plate model?
