If you wouldn’t mind, let us know how well they work and if you like them. I have been thinking about buying a set, but I’ve really been trying to get some feedback on items before I buy them.Reading some of the reviews of Satern funnels, it sounds like a common issue. Oh well.
I ordered the Lyman kit. It’ll be here tomorrow. Once again, I can’t seem to drop $100 on the 419 kit.

I use one as well. Bought it last summer. My initial impression is: It's a winner. I'm happy with the $30 price and it works great.
The orange caliber inserts press into the bottom of the funnel and are held in with an o-ring, just like the SAC comparators minus the receiving groove that makes them snap in. These don't snap in. They're a bit stiff to push in, so I added some Lockease to the o-ring and now it's perfect.
There are no circumferential ridges in the funnel, it's smooth. Powder doesn't hangup anywhere.
My only complaint is the handle on the funnel makes it tilt to one side. If your loading block has a short side wall, it may tip over or contribute to spills. I added some magnets to the opposite side to balance it, to see if it mattered to me. I'll give it some time, unbalanced, and figure out if I want to chop it off.
I should have bought this kit for all of my calibers at $30 instead of my latest $15 (IMO) defective Satern funnel.

I imagine that there is no purpose to them and likely more related to how the funnels are formed. What is the purpose of those rings in the first place.
Works great for extruded powders. Sucks for ball.Does anyone else think the newer Satern powder funnels, with the more pronounced ridges, are not as good as the older ones?
Those ridges seem to hang on to a kernel or two. That never seemed to happen with my older ones.

No static with aluminumWhat is the benefit of aluminum vs plastic?
Unless they recently started outsourcing there made in the old pay n pak building in Lewiston Idaho. There built very well, I stopped to pickup up a couple 20 moa bases and ended up with a big box of stuff including there funnels from 22-338 they have nice stuff and easy to deal withI also like the Precision Hardcore Gear funnels, but the more popular ones
have been out of stock for months.
These are really nice, but cost more than the Satern's
Guessing they are made in you know where.
