Sasquatch

So I'm watching some TV the other night and learned that apparently Bigfoots are real and that they are a protected species in Washington state.

Huh, I don't think I am prepared to here this.

Lets just say I'm out doin some, not Bigfoot huntin, but just some regular huntin and come across one of these critters. Is my gun big enough or is it just gonna smell really bad where I'm standing. These things get to be about, well I've never seen one, but they say really freakin big.

If one was gonna say, protect ones self from a 700lb 10' tall very mobile squatch type critter, what gun would you use? Immediately I'm thinking something along the lines of a 8 ga. with 5"mag. double odd. I don't know.

I was thinking of getting back into hunting but I don't think I want to carry two guns and I can't imagine what the cost of ammo would be cause I'm definitely gonna need something in full auto.

Now that's just plain Dumb!!
Sorry for the harsh language, but I feel it's nessesary here,,

How could anyone possibly even consider harming a Protected species?

Do you realize what kind of trouble you could be in with the Fish and Game Dept?

;) ;D

If that thing is real, and it wants you, I guess you'll have to decide if you want to live and be the first to take one? Instant world record since there are none to compare. Then interviews, fame; or if you want to be PC; try and talk it out of ripping your body parts off. I'd dump it if it moved on me. ::)

I rather be judged by 12 than carried by six. Just a thought for the mythical creature that doesnt exist. It would be interesting to see who introduced that bill.

I seen a Sasquatch here in ND a few times. He walks around one of the near by ranges picking up brass.

Not sure when or who introduced the bill but it was a Govner I think. They said who it was on the show I think but I was blown away at what I was hearing.

I guess they could exist. The earth is a pretty big place for a creature to hide that doesn't want to be seen.
I not saying anyone is lying, it's just some things I need to see for myself.

Jim,
You could switch to a .50 cal that would take care if the Sasquatch if necessary and you could shoot them PDogs from a long long way off too! If it is as smart as the one on T.V., he will run when he sees you packing that big boy.

Just sectioned a 12 gauge slug today. That things like a 70 caliber and weighed around 440 grains.

Use that. Sounds just right to squash the squach.

HAHAHAHA good stuff.

id smoke him with my 6.5 collect my million and laugh all the way to the bank and the taxidermy, what a story to tell the grandkids.

This subject reminds me of a joke my brother told me years ago. A guy goes out for bear and misses the animal three times , each miss resulting in a different type of molestation on the man, by the bear. In the end the bear says to the guy " you don't really come here for the hunting do you?"

We actually have one here that is a member of our Club and he is a IDPA shooter.

My suggestion is to shoot from a distance.

well, I recommend a 416 rem magnum, with the 400grain RN. That's what I've got now, just in case an elephant pops out in the alfalfa fields here in VA. :o I am going to load some 350grain mag tip bullets, for the grizzly bears, they could show up too! ;)

Bigfoot is one thing, but yesterday at a public range that I rarely go too. I actually saw someone put out, at 25yds and shoot a lifesize Zombie target.... This thing actually "bled" when hit.. ???

Watching them shoot at it with a .45 was interesting for a brief moment, but then they pulled out a bunch of semiauto SKS stuff and extended mag shotguns, I figured it was best to wrap up what I was trying to do and go home..... Each to their own I guess. ::)

But please dont shoot the Bigfoot, he might be a relative of mine....

The reason that was passed in the 70,s was to keep people from shooting people pulling Bigfoot hoaxes that were dressed as bigfoot

If a person was stupid enough to dress up in a giant gorilla suit and run through the woods to scare people he should expect to get shot. Darwanism is beautiful thing to bad we get in its way.
