Sand bag rests and aluminum rails

I currently have a seb neo rest (has 3 piece bag with 3M slick material) and the wheeler lrb stock. Is anyone aware of a cordura replacement for the rest that accomodates the 4 inch forend? In the short term I can put some stock tape on the rails or use a dryer sheet but I am looking for other options too.

Thanks in advance,
JP

Give Ernie a call and he may have what you are looking for.

Protector will most likely make one for you. Give them a call and tell them what you are looking to do.....;)

I spray my back bag with Armor-all and let it dry and buff it off, then I use bag wax on my leather bag and it is as slick as snot on a door knob........... Jim.

BTW. that has an aluminum rudder that is polished

I know we had two identical 65 pound heavy guns. My buddies rails were just polished and mine were anodized. We both used graphite powder on the bags. When he slid his gun back and forth in the bags, it sounded like a saw. Mine slid much easier and after he saw that, he got his anodized. The anodizing makes them harder and fills the pores up. After reading this post, I waxed two of my stocks’ aluminum bits with turtle wax paste w/ carnuba. Holy smokes, what a difference! Riding on cordura, it’s super smooth, maybe even too slick?? We shall see.
