I bought some sako optilock bases to weaver or picatinny.
serving has cross bolt is the screw connecting the jaws, I have measured the portion of the screw that will be against the flat portion of the picatinny rail and it is more than haft the screw diameter, I would prefer the square bar like on night force rings, my question is could this system of screws, treads ) against the flat damage the rail . I did phone Sako and they assured me no problem it was used on their famous TRG22 sniper rifle in 338 lapua and never had a complaint.... what do you think
