Picked up a Rem. 223 bolt that has a Sako extractor installled. Can the bolt face be opened up to use the PPC case and the Sako extractor work or do I need to stick with the 223 case
Sako extractor in 223 bolt---work with 6ppc?

I've done conversions where I installed a pin under the extractor to hold it open going from PPC to .473"
It may work on a 223.

I've done .473 to magnum with no problem. I would guess that your's would work. And like Dave said, you could always put a small pin or maybe a set screw under the extractor.
You only need about. 025 of lift so most likely it could be made to work. Good luck and keep posted.
