Safe place to puchase Mitutoyo products?

I'm seeing prices on Mitutoyo products all over the place. My fear is buying a knockoff. So I'm looking for places that sell genuine Mitutoyo products for fair prices.

Thanks guys.

I got mine on amazon, price is the first giveaway if there fake, but this video explains a lot about fakes.
Also buy your batteries from grainger, the mitutoyo branded ones, cheap batteries are not the same.

Global Test Supply has the best prices I have found for legit Mitutoyo. They are also very fast at shipping.
I second this. I've bought Mitutoyo items from Global Test Supply and been very pleased. Prices are good and they are an authorized Mitutoyo supplier. It's good that OP is asking, because prices vary all over the map and counterfeits abound. There are some good videos on Youtube showing what to look for in identifying a counterfeit It's not easy to pick up the details of fake items. Best to buy from a reputable source and not risk Ebay, Amazon etc.

if you sign up with Zoro they will send you mailer with discounts. I recently bought a bigger compressor for my CNC machine using one of their discount codes.

The newer Mitutoyo caliper has much better control buttons, which makes it much easier to use single handed. Adam the machinist has some YouTube videos on using all the different ways of using them.

Mitutoyo isnt that great when considering price to quality ratio. Ive used all of their dials and vernier calipers. Save money and get better quality with iGaging products

My experience differs considerably when comparing coolant proof options. Longevity of the Gauging has not compared. Workmanship does fall short of the Mitutoyo in my opinion. Though suit yourself I suppose. If you can't tell the difference why pay the difference has been a slogan offered out there. IMHO I can tell the difference & mititoyo IP67 stuff is hard to beat. If you are looking at the non coolant proof Mititoyo stuff then the IGauging starts to compare with the mititoyo non-coolant proof offerings in my opinion. Though I do feel true Mititoyo stuff is worth the asking price even when compared to I gauging stuff.

I would rather pay 4 times the money for a lightly used Mititoyo IP67 offering as opposed to a brand new IGauging offering. Just my 2 cents based on a lot of experience over the years & using the stuff in a professional environment. Few or no, professional machinist will use the Gauging stuff for very long based on my observations.

Ebay has some good deals on used Mitutoyo cals just gotta catch them, I got some great deals but I got lucky plus you have to know what your looking at...so buy new steer clear of the digimatics the digimatic is not quite the caliper as the absolute.... 500-734-20 Absolute is a great caliper...the Absolute line is the best and smoothest
