Edit: Do you mean that you want to put your $100 on the position that Trump or Biden will concede by 14 December? If so, you're on! I don't think Trump will ever concede, and Biden has no reason to concede.

That phrase has been over used and lost its luster in the 80's. Why this election? Every election I hear the same old, this is the most important election of out lifetime. Why is this election more important than the last? I disdain and loathe Hillary more than Biden. Beating her was more important to me.

So I have been through the most important election of my life 15 times. Let me guess, the next election will be the most important election of my lifetime.
Not bragging here, but are you aware I have survived the predicted end of the world no less than 30 times in my life.
I disliked Hillary too, but in my opinion, Creepy Joe is more dangerous to us, and then there is his VP.....

We vote for electors that vote for us when the electors meet after the popular vote is over. The electors are chosen based on how the popular vote goes. In 26 states, the electors are "bound" to vote that way, but the penalties, if they do not, are minimal. In my opinion, "a few" (relatively speaking) electors are too easily "influenced", as compared to our voting population. We should directly elect the president and vice president.

If we did not have the Electoral College then Trump would not have become the president in the 2016 election since Clinton had the popular vote but Trump had the Electoral College vote. Without the Electoral College we would be at the mercy of states like California, New York and other highly populated Democrat left wing states.

The president cannot control everything, even though most think he does/can.
The House and the Senate has more ( In my small mind) control. Check and balance system. Like it or not, Trump wants to drang the swamp! All of them! That needs to be done, period!
Why term limits for president? But not the the Senate or House? Until career politicians are replaced how can we ever think a difference will be made? Insanity-doing the same thing and expecting different results.
Trump was the first none career politician in any office that I'm aware of. That's why no one wants him, Democrats or Republicans. He is against them all. He wants what we all want, the US to be the best. They (all Senate and House) have their own agenda, both want something different, all I want is someone in power to do the right thing, stand up for God, and our Constitution! I dont care if white , black, purple, green, Blue, or Red.
We need to follow God and the Constitution, end of story.
I could rant some more on all. But l will call it for now.
PS... if everyone would pay there part, and follow the rules our forefathers set out, and most importantly Gods rules, we could all live without the issues we have, period!

A lot (most?) complain year after year that no matter who gets elected, we just end up with more of the same thing. Well, we got Trump, a political outsider who came in and tried to do different things and do them differently. Do I agree with all of how he did things? I do not, but darn it, he did try doing things differently. People then complained and turned on him. I guess that America deserves to go back to more of the same like they had in the past.

Because none of the other 12 colonies wanted to be ruled by New York. The electoral college was the foundation of the union. Absent the electoral college, a union would have never been formed. Dissolve it and you dissolve the union with the same stroke of the same pen.

They already have that in essence. The relatively recent SCOTUS decision on Eminent Domain ruled that government can take your land simply because someone else offers to top the public coffers up at a higher rate than you are. That resulted in a government land grab nation wide. The Obamacare decision concerning the "tax" (a penalty for all intents and purposes) imposed if you refuse to purchase insurance was a ruling that allows the government to take your money if you refuse to spend the money left in your pocket after you pay your taxes in a manor the government deems responsible. Think about the consequences of that going forward. Refuse to buy a Prius and they take your money, refuse to purchase vegetables, they take your money. The result of those two SCOTUS decisions means that the real property you own is no longer yours and the income you earn is no longer yours. Government can take both at will.
