You don't state screw size. Here are the values Leupold "used" to print on their mounting instructions:1. Base screws to action
2. (Picatinny or Wever type base) ring to base torque
3. Ring to scope screw torque (Weaver , Burris, Nightforce, Leupold)
The Warne TW1 Torq wrench is pre set at 25 in pds It seems to be enough on any bases and rings that I normally use which is mostly Leupold. I think I read somewhere that Leupold actually recommends 28 ft pds for their screws.
Are you sure you meant to write 28 ft lbs?
http://www.weaveroptics.com/resources/ring_charts/weaver_torque_specs.pdfHis rings are Weaver Tactical w/6 screws each ring.. I called Weaver and tech said he didn't know ,, and would have to check (hold on) He never came back to me (2 calls). The base is picatinny rail supplied by Jerry Stiller, they came w/action.
The horizontal screw that hods rings on,,, any torque value on that?
Thanks guys/gals
