Ruger Number 1,3 questions

Hello, I have a question. I have researched the web and cannot find the answer. 1. Is the ejector/extractor the same for the number 1 and number 3.
I have read that there are 3 different ones for all the available calibers.
I do not know if that is true. I have a #3 action I want to get barreled and I am trying to identify what extractor I have now. I would like to barrel it 6.5x55.
I want to aquire the other two types if possible. Thanks Jeff

Ruger will happily sell you the sizes they have in stock. Call them they were very helpfull when I needed an extractor for a barrel/cartridge change.

I believe the receivers and internals are the same for the most part. There are some variations in No. 1 parts throughout the years as with any piece of equipment. I don't know if any of these variations would require fitting from a more recent production model, but the early #1s should be the same as the #3s. Check with a knowledgable gunsmith or Ruger.

Numrich has ejectors, springs and pivots listed for Number 1s some of the stainless were out of stock but most of the rest looked to be available.
