Was fairly quiet tonite.
Got a mangy big male that was in no hurry when it came out of a drainage into cattle.
Squeaked it in from 220yds to 150 where it stopped, sat down and scratched it's self, thwaaap and it stayed.
Pal sat 150 yds behind me over looking a creek flat. I heard a hard watermelon slap when he shot, well he hit low in belly and it made it into thick willows along creek.
He did not find it.
Was quiet after that.
