I was invited down into CO to help remove some coyotes with a new pal who knows every rancher in the area.
Male on left was mangy, I took him at 450 yds as he decided to get out of the open area after calling in it from 1200+ when I 1st spotted it, then realized 2 other coyotes were sitting out there watching us...they stayed safe....for now. I knew he was looking & stopping, but never saw the others till the shot rang out.
Middle female, 28 lbs. was a 330 yard running shot, hit it at the crest of a gully she was making for...found it 80 yds down it as she rolled after hit. My pal put 3 shots after it before I dropped it with a 65vmax into her shoulder.
Female on right, 29 lbs. was a 125 yd shot after my pal remove a leg off it with his AR15.
Bottom pic, male dropped at 225yds as it tried to wind us.
Shot 2 that we did not find and saw 8 more that busted us as we moved the sets.
Great weekend with 50sq miles of ranches he calls on we never hit the same spot twice.
