RL-33 Data for 338 Edge

Just wonder if anyone has worked up a load for the 338 Edge using Reloaded 33 and Berger 300 & 250 grain bullets. Just wondering about where you started at since Alliant does not have any published data for this round. I have been using H-1000 but wanted to try the RL-33.

I have, I will have to look up my notes. If your shooting good, stick with what you have. I only gained 50-60 fps with the 300 hybrid, and the nodes where touchy. I have a 2 grain window with Retumbo where velocity doesn't change. I went back to Retumbo, and am going to try H1000

You can start the 250's at 90 Grains without a problem...

I appreciate everyone's input thus far. Currently my load with the 300 Berger's is 92.2 with the H-1000 @ .015 off the lands.

I got pressure at 102 gr. with the 300 hybrid and a .142 free bore using a wlrm primer. 100gr looked good on my ladder test, but like I said, velocity never settles down. Do a ladder test starting at 90 grains.

I use 92.5 of Retumbo. During my ladder test I had a 2 grain window with a 4fps es. My spreads are in the teens. I am going to try h1000 as well, I seem to get an occasional flier, but I believe it is caused by inconsistent shoulder pressure. I am spoiled by dashers.

98.6 gr @ 2880 with std lapua @ 300 gr.
20 es . Can shoot 6” group at 1000 but poi not so consistant day to day. Might be carbon barrel. Supposedly better in improved version. H1000 was more consistent at 80 fps slower.

That was a long time ago! I did fix the flyer though. It was not my gun handling. The barrel wouldnt jump it wanted to be .015" in the lands, and with 93gn. of H1000 it shot tiny.
