Hi All. not sure if this has been covered yet, but has anyone tried RL16 in a 308 with 200-215gr bullets? We have limited access to these powders over here and was curious to how the burn rate compares with H4350.
The kernels of RL 16 do not have the density of h 4350. I checked to see how much powder could fit into a new .308 Palma case. It could only hold 48gr of powder to just under the rim at the top. I came to a conclusion that there were plenty of other proven powders readily available for .308 rather than trying to develop a load and wasting a bunch of time and money.Hi All. not sure if this has been covered yet, but has anyone tried RL16 in a 308 with 200-215gr bullets?
