RIP Brand Bullets -- Info?

If your referring to the Rest In Peace ammo, the bullet is designed to flower out and pieces of the jacket break off.

I sold these when Gander Mountain was in the sporting goods and we had a ballistic jell block that showed the effect to the bullet.

I would not want to be hit with one of those.

Talk to the CC lawyers and they will tell you NO special loads or bullets, anything that kills or injures horribly shows your intent to be a wonton killer, RN bullets and a stock off the shelf high FPS, like Remington in .45 ACP 230 grain 890 FPS or a 9MM 124 grain RN at 1140 FPS and if you end up in court, you just say you bought it off the shelf and don't know squat about ballistics.

Indeed. Carrying hollow points indicates your intent to shoot somebody apparently. Heard that from multiple sources.

I am unsure of what kind of RPM most handgun self-defense loads generate, but it would seem to me that a bullet of this design would be so out of balance it be very in accurate. I get that it is a self-defense load and not a long-range bullet. I think I would be worried about shooting it and hitting myself.
