Rings and Height for Nightforce Benchrest 10-42

I have a 6x47, heavy barrel with Remington action, 1000 yard rifle in need of a Nightforce Benchrest scope. I need recommendations for rings and ring height. Thanks for your advice.

Is that the new 6x47 Lapua ?
A set of High Burris Signature rings will serve you well with the 56MM lens on the Nightforce...

Thanks for the recommendation. Yes, it is a 6X47 Lapua. I wasn't sure if I could get away with medium rings or not given the Remington action and heavy target barrel.

Remember it will depend on the base you'll be using to..
Measuring is good if you have the right equipment to do it...

Can't measure what you don't have- I am in the process of buying the scope and the rings. Hence the question, but thanks for your 2 cents.

I love the Burris signiture rings. They can give you adjustable elvation, or if your action/barrel/base screws are a tad out, you can get your windage in the middle. + they dont need lapping or anything. I use the high ring Burris Z. If you go for the medium, you will find your bolt will hit the eye piece.

I got away with using the Low Burris XTR rings on my Savage BR 308.

I for one would not use a set of rings that didn't have the inserts in them..
Sure don't want any of my scopes marked up when they are removed....
