Ring hight for sightron 10-50x60 S3? Highs?

Just verifying before I order some, scope rings for a sightron S3 10-50x60LRMD...

Should take high rings no matter what barrel contour right?

Im running im running high/32mm rings with my 56mm objective, and the barrels 1.35, and another is 1.25, clears perfectly.

One rifle is a rem varmint contour though so I have a little more wiggle room... not sure if I should try medium/28mm high rings, or stay safe with highs when ordering..

The hi's will work, some mediums as well. If you have an adjustable comb it will make it easier to fine tune your cheek weld to suit you. Best of luck.

Just be careful. At first, I'd use lower rings, and that worked fine, but when I started shooting F-Class I found that with the lower rings I had difficulty accommodating my mirage shield between the barrel and the end of the scope. Consequently, I now use higher rings than need to accommodate the mirage shield comfortably.

On my grizzly 2 action, I have a 20 moa kelbly base, and standard height 30mm kelbly rings with my sightron 10-50x60. I have a heavy varmint barrel on the action. It clears and I can still get my sightron scope cover on over my mirage shield. What style base do you have? I have a set of high and extra high burris rings for a pic/weaver rail if you want to see if they will fit before you buy a set. I can ship either of them to you so you can get an idea. PM me if youd like.

I bought them before I got the kelbly base/action and wasnt sure which would fit on my savage action gun.

Medium Burris Z rings were very tight. Too tight for a cap. The high rings worked best.

20 MOA base with 30 MM/Medium height rings which are .935 high; both from Ken Farrell which gives enough clearance for a large Q-tip between objective and barrel.

Sounds like Ill just go with highs on this one Ive been on the fence about... its a rem action, nightforce 20moa base, rem varmint contour 6br. Rather have a little room than cut it too close or have to order another set..

Think you'll find highs to be prefect with your rifles specs.

Your rifle is about the same as mine except my barrel is a Kreger Palma contour and hi rings give me no problems, I do have an adjustable comb height, however.

My desires to scope height is two part; first for spacious scope to barrel clearance, and second for a high more relaxed head position. I find Highs and/or Extra High are typically more optimal to both desires.
