If you are going to use a picatinny, you should be able to use medium rings.

I have used this combination with a 56 mm Sightron scope and had clearance from the barrel no problem

Long action Remington M700. Either a 52mm or maybe a 56mm.

I got two, both with 20 moa bases. Im running 1-1/8” tall rings on both with about and 1/8” of clearance under the bell.
