Rimfire Gallery--Show Us Your Gun

I currently have 8 Model of 1922's. 5 are in original condition, one was arsenally upgraded to M2 configuration and one is configured as a M1903A1 in a "C" stock. My earliest is SN 36, (1922) my highest is SN 2010, which is 1 of 12 international match rifles made for the 1924 Olympics in Paris.

WOW!!! You have 1% of all True, unmodified Springfield Model 1922s in existence!!! Only 500 of the original 2500 1922s survived not being modified at Springfield!!! A lot of 1922, 1922M1, and 1922M2 were rechambered to 22 Hornet, 222 Rem, or 22-250 and the original bolts were discarded with surplus 03A3 bolts for the center fire cartridges!!!
I have seen 1922s go at auction for more than $2500!!! 1 sold at near $3K!!! The 2010 rifle is a very, very rare rifle!!
VERY CURIOUS!!!
WHAT IS THE YEAR STAMP ON THE BARREL???

Actually, there were only 2020 Model of 1922's made from 1922 - 1924. Production of the Model of 1922 MI began in F/Y 1925.

The barrels on the 1924 International Match rifles were not dated. The serial number, however, was stamp on the bottom of the barrel.

Interestingly, the Olympics are in Paris again this year, 100 years since the 1924 IM rifles were used by the US Shooting Team in Paris in 1924. The event was 50M smallbore, off-hand. Marcus Dinwiddle, age 16, won the Silver Metal (396/400). The three other Americans placed 10th, Walther R. Stokes (390/400) and 12th, Jole Boles and John Grier (389/400).

Only 8 IM rifles accompanied the team to Paris. Four primary rifles and 4 backup rifles. These 8 rifles are documented as going to France with the team, but there is no record of which were used for the actual event. What is interesting, however, is that only five rifles were delivered to the team early enough to be practiced with. SN 2010 was one of the five. The remaining three were delivered to the dock the day the team sailed for France. Just speculating, as a shooter, I would prefer to use a rifle that I had practiced with and developed a feel for, not one fresh out of the crate.

Nice gun Slowshot.
Setup reminds me of big bore F-Class. Is it?
The MPR is a 5 shot box magazine fed 22 LR rifle. If I compete with it, I plan to shoot it in IR 50/50 10.5 lb class and UL Class. With my Weaver XR T-36 it easily makes 10.5 weight. It is called an MPR (Multi Purpose Rifle) because it is designed to shoot with a rest from a bench, off-hand or with a bipod. This is my second MPR. The other was a 64 action. I sold it many years ago and missed it soon after that. The 1761 has an all new action from Anschutz. So far, I am quite impressed.

Just took delivery of this CPA for 22 BPCR matches.

Thanks leakyjohn,
Rifle is also pretty accurate too. Did some ammunition testing yesterday. Here are some 5 shot groups fired at 100 yards yesterday.

Best photo I have of my CZ455 Varmint, heavy barrel, 17HMR, bedded into a Boyd's pepper lami, 4-12 leupold scope. It is very accurate out to 150 yrd, yet not heavy enough to carry as a walk about.
