What adjustable buttstock is that? I have a Remington 580 that has a very short stock and I'm thinking of doing something like that on there rather than trying to replace the stock. I've seen those at Brownells but I'm not sure which one to get.

Very nice rifle BTW

CZ MTR bone stock except for ebay trigger spring reducing pull to 6 oz. Mueller 40 x 56, 3" aluminum bag rider up front using the swivel screw holes. 5 local rimfire 22 matches between 22-27 shooters, took high agg and won several matches. Like a bonehead, I sold it at the last match in which I shot a target that scored 100 w/ 9x. Still waiting for the buyer to pick it up. Kinda hoping he backs out

I was heading back from Cheyenne last week and I stopped by Mile High to see some friends. They have a ton of this Lapua Biathlon ammo in stock.

I grabbed a brick to play with with the caveat that the brick has to come from a lot with 3-4 cases avail.

I like Biathlon ammo because for the most part it isnt greasy.

Last Saturday I grabbed my Vudoo 360 and I spent some time at the indoor range getting a solid zero, checking ES/SD and doing some tuning. The SD was about 7 and it was a pretty painless tune.

Sunday I took it outdoors after our USPSA match. This was 10 shots at 150 meters. I bought 3 cases of it. It was also impressive out to 400 yards.

Interesting... I have two friends with Vudoo's, one a V22, one a V22S, and neither will chamber the Biathlon Xtreme without such excessive bolt effort that they decided not to use it. My Anschutz 54, Winchester 52D, and Turbo MK I actions love it. Already have a case, or I would offer to take it off their hands. Great stuff for our 100 & 200 yard matches!

A new acquisition to my stable of RFBR Competition rifles, 'Black Pearl', seven months in the waiting. V3 Turbo action, polished and blueprinted by Jeff Patterson. Jeff also bedded the Lidgard charcoal variegated polished Dymalux stock and fit two polished Muller barrels to the action, both with their own Stiller tuners installed. I polished the stainless steel trigger guard that I picked up from Bruno's Shooters Supply. Ignition and timing to the Flavio Fare' Whisper 2.0 trigger was also done by Jeff. Polished (self) Harrells Precision high 34mm rings on DiOrio dovetail bases holding a March-X 10-60 x 56 High Master scope.
Thanks for looking.......Scott

Congratulations on a great looking rifle Scott!

Scott,
Are you bringing that beauty to Phoenix for the matches this coming weekend? Rio on the 21st and Ben Avery on the 22nd.
It would be good to shoot with you again.

Bill

Thanks Keith! We missed meeting this year, but we will someday I am sure......even if I have to drive to Maine!!
Stay safe my friend!.....Scott

Sorry Bill, but I will not be making my yearly trip to the Phoenix area this year. My travel schedule this year was limited for several reasons. New match director, not shooting for ARA national points this year, and conflicts with visiting my cousin in Tempe, and her LEFT WING LIBERAL HUSBAND, put the brakes on going out west. Trust me though, I will miss seeing the gang at Ben and Rio. Next year will be a better year for going out west. I do appreciate your thoughts though.
Stay safe my friend, I'll be in touch privately........Scott

Spent some time today with the newly quiet Vudoo single shot for some F-Class practice.

I had plenty of time behind this rifle before threading it 3/4x24 and putting on an ATS tuner and Thunderbeast Ultra 7 suppressor. After threading accuracy was unchanged. The addition of the tuner just made good groups better, and the can makes everyone happy. I also put my S&B 12-50 with 1/8 MOA clicks back on.

The two targets for the day were a 4 inch diamond at 300 yards and a 5 inch diamond at 410 yards.

The 300 yard target was pretty easy if you stayed ahead of the wind. This range has few (none) wind flags inside 300 yards, but hitting 75% was very doable.

The 400 yard target was tough as I was shooting it when the breeze started picking up. I was maybe 50% on it. Elevation was pretty solid, the wind got me most of the time.

No issues here. It is dirty compared to every other ammo I have tried, but that is why there are cleaning rods and VFG pellets.

Nice rifle! What barrel is on it? I'm curious about the tuner/suppressor setup too. What does the suppressor add if anything accuracy wise? Kinda dumb on them myself.

It is a 23 inch Shilen Ratchet, MTU contour.

I tested it with and without the suppressor, no change in accuracy. The point of impact is changed hanging all that weight out there and the tuner setting also changed. It is just much more enjoyable to shoot. Being able to hear the steel targets out to 400 yards ring when I am not wearing ear plugs is nice.
