Rifle with Rem 7 pattern action

Can a rifle be built with a Rem model 7 action with bottom metal that will accept an AR 15 mag?
I know the Model 7 is shorter than a 700 short action and the AR15 mag is shorter than an AICS or Eliseo mag.

I'm wanting to reduce the distance vs that on an Eliseo R5 from the trigger to the front of the mag. The rifle would be used in XTC.

The magazine length is the same as a SA Rem. Finding bottom metal could be an issue.

The distance from the trigger to the front of the mag well would be longer than on a Model 7 with an AR mag, yes?

Ah, and I should mention I want to use 223 - that's the easy button for me.

I don't think you'll find bottom metal that will accept AR mags. One for a model 7 would be a unicorn.

I didn't read your earlier post well enough - I was assuming it was for an AR mag.
And, now I see it's out of stock.

I have one for a 700. Its a ptg

Ptg made one, I have it laying around somewhere
Feeding double stack 223 /300 no it never worked in the ar mags with a round bolt. No matter what I tried . ptg finally exchanged it to a acis mag system
But if you want to use it for a center feed like 450bm or 458 socom where it center feeds it would probably work
