I am looking to buy/build a rifle stock for a long action Remington. I have and A5 and A3 Mc Millan on 2 rifles and I like them a lot. However, I am looking for some thing that is less size and weight that may lend it self to being carried without loosing the vertical pistol grip and the ability to help absorb recoil. Is there such a thing? I have no idea what to ask for. A not quite tactical stock, an almost tactical stock. With varmint rifles they have a walking varminter. Maybe i am looking for a walking tactical stock??? Some thing for an old man that can still get to the mailbox, but is in less than force recon marine shape. Now that Ive seen that in print way less than FRM shape. Can one of you guys steer me in the right direction. Head spaced the barrel last week, put the trigger together and added safety and bolt release to it today. Time for stock
