Rifle scope help

I have a nightforce scope and when i went to sight it in i noticed that when i turn the target turrets UP it goes Down and Down goes up and left goes right basically everything is backwards is this right

Ryan, That is the way scopes work. The crosshairs or reticle will move opposite of the printed up/down - left/right on the turrets. At least all that I have ever watched did anyway. Gunamonth has it right. The direction of movement on the turret will be point of impact movement, but the reticle movement is reverse. Bill
