I just had to make this decision! I have had terrible luck finding one that will fit my rifle, too. I really considered the pelican case but it doesn't have a center carry handle and was just a lot more than I wanted to spend.
It doesn't give interior dimensions, but it is described as "53 inch" and the exterior length is over 54", so I'm thinking it will work for my 52" rifle, possible angled since it is a "double case." I'll post an update when it gets here.
It is 51.5" inside. However the pluck foam doesn't pluck out that far as it has a non-pluckable border. You can cut the border foam with a knife. You will have to angle it to get a 52" in there.
The case has bump outs inside for the wheels. It is 51.5" from the inside of the case end without the wheels to between the wheel bumps on the other end. This might get in the way of your plan to angle the rifle.
I will look at mine later and see if I think it will work.
MD Lucky, do you have availability to go look at one of those cases in person? Looking at mine, I don't think it will hold a 52" rifle even diagonally.
If you figure out how to do it, please post up a pic. It would be good info.
+1 for Vanguard 70C. This is a lightweight blow-molded case impregnated with a nylon fabric on the exterior. I wouldn't check this on an airline but it's a lot lighter than a Pelican for transporting between home and the range.

Unfortunately no... Part of living in the middle of no where.
I just put a tape to the rifle again and it's almost exactly 51.5" with the 32" barrel. I think I had 52" in my mind so I had a little bit of extra space. Hopefully it works, but even if it doesn't I'm sure there are a few other rifles that would look just fine in this case.
I received the new case a few days ago, but I have been out on work and just got a chance to try everything out.
It fits. BARELY. But it fits.
I went at a strong angle with the butt of the stock near the end wheels. That way if I do wheel it, it will be bouncing on the stock and not the barrel.
Its close.
Rifle is almost exactly 51.5 inches.
There isn't a ton of room in front of the barrel, but there is still material.
With it all cut out I have room for a few shooting accessories. I may cut a spot for the bolt, too.
It is VERY tight, but I feel a heck of a lot better traveling with this setup versus my previous setup. Honestly.. I don't know if I would FLY with this setup, but I know to handle everything gently.. so I won't be concerned as long as I'm the guy moving everything.
Tight fit.. But you might be able to make this one work.
