Rifle builder question

If the gun shoots so good then why are you selling it?? Most people that sell a gun just go out and buy another . and they have a new gun that shoots the same as the gun that they just sold . It is a lot cheaper to change the barrel new trigger and a good scope . And if that will not shoot then you better LEARN how to shoot your gun .

Why buying a used rifle, you never really know how well it will shoot until after you buy it. But ... you should know who built it before you consider the purchase. Lots of guys build their own rifles. Who knows what their level of expertise is? Rifles built by top gunsmiths normally hold higher resale value.

I have more rifles than I can shoot. I've sold some really good ones. I like trying new actions/stocks/etc. I have had some stuff that I have not been happy with. People like new stuff. I bought my favorite action on here from an old feller who just didn't shoot it any more.

Or, like me, you finally realize that you have way more guns than you could ever learn every nuance of and shoot it well and are selling off great guns to reduce inventory. I'm at about 10 custom rifles and going to get down to 3.............. I think, okay, maybe 4. That will be sooner or later (maybe). I'm getting old and would rather not leave all that on the wife.

Yeah , but you are a gunsnith that is different , just the average shooter that likes to shoot like me , is who I'm talking about , It is cheaper to rebarrel than selling and buying new again and agian . And you have not bettered your self at all .

Reputable goes a long ways, if not you may end up with a big void like this in the epoxy lines that your painter has to figure out how to fix.
