Actually this is not true. The Bino reads ONLY the file in the root directory of the SD card. You can have multiple files on the SD say in a separate directory. You do have to have a computer to move them around but...

Actually it is true. On pagr 48 of the owner's manual, it clearly states "only one ballistics curve can be saved on the card"

I called Leica customer service to confirm this when I bought the bino last year.

It is a memory card, you can save your kids pictures on it with the ballistics curves if you want to. You can save as many ballistics curves as will fit in the space, but the system will only see one of them at a time, and as was stated in the earlier post, you have to use a computer to move them around to change the one that the system will read.

Talking to CS for most products is like going to a gun store to ask about reloading, or going to a cigar shop to ask about cigars. It's actually rare to get someone who knows anything.

What's point to save multiple files (ballistics curves) on the card when the bino can only read one?

Let's just say you can use a computer to move the files around for the bino to read, so I need to bring a computer with me when I go hunting or target shooting? like I don't have enough stuff to bring with me already.

I save one file (ballistics curve) on each card and can quickly change the card in the field when I decide to switch rifles. That's the way I do it and I find it's the easiest way to do it.
