Sounds good (lucky you) I going to look them up nowI have the leica geovid hd-b 2200, love it, it's invaluable tool when hunting, just shot a 420 yards javalina with it.
If there is one thing I wish it has, it would be the multiple loads on one sd card. Right now you can only save one load on a sd card, so when you switch rifle, you'll need to switch the sd card as well.
I look it up on Zeiss' website, it looks very interesting, very easy to switch profile when changing rifles. The potential downfall is the bluetooth connection, it draws a lot battery, if your phone is dead then it just becomes a regular binocular. The Zeiss are not available yet but I got to play with a pair at their annual sales meeting in December. They are nothing short of awesome. Very ergonomic. They have a button on each side that is full programmable. They link to your honep via Bluetooth and the accompanying Zeiss app let's you plug on all the ballistics for your rifles. You can program the binos for yards or meters, plus you can have it display come ups in minutes or mils. I can't wait to get my sample to play with.
I believe around $3500 MSRP.Do you know what price range for these?
I have used the Leica 10x42 range finder binos, very clear glass and great rangefinder.Has anyone tried or own the new Leica or Zeiss range finding binoculars?
I believe around $3500 MSRP.

2300 meter ranging, but still on "pre-order"
No wonder it's on sale, lol
Yeah, unfortunately that's the cost of technology. In the shooting world we're not as exposed to the proplem of today's electronics being obsolete in 1-3 years, but that is likely the case with any electronics, including RF binos.Thats why im not buyin rf binos! Or atleast until the israeli wind sensing radar is one of the functions!
Actually this is not true. The Bino reads ONLY the file in the root directory of the SD card. You can have multiple files on the SD say in a separate directory. You do have to have a computer to move them around but...I have the leica geovid hd-b 2200, love it, it's invaluable tool when hunting, just shot a 420 yards javalina with it.
