Retumbo is not being discontinued. The drought is caused by the fact that Hodgdon sources all of its powders from outside manufacturers. Most of the Hodgdon powders are made in Australia and shipped by container to the U.S. There are limits applied to the amount of powder and containers shipped so the quantities of some powders becomes extremely limited. Some IMR powders are sourced from the manufacturer in Canada which has its own set of problems due to governmental interference by both sides. My suggestion is to move on and test for other powders because two things will happen; the demand will continue to outstrip the supply and the practice of hoarding will continue to come into play as the prices rise even higher than they are now.

VV N570 doesn't seem to be available at present, but is expected to start showing up again soon, unless someone knows something different.
