Resizing new brass?

I do mine all the time, as a matter of fact I have 200 new pieces waiting to be done now.
I'll do it next week while recovering from a minor surgery.

I don’t resize new brass and live the results. If they are near 1 MOA + or - , I’m okay with it. By the third firing I’ll strive to get “below”
1 MOA.

What are the downsides to resizing or prepping new brass? None...................laziness may prevent this, that's all.

If the brass will physically fit in the chamber, what good do you think you're doing by FL sizing it?

If there are dents in the neck, a mandrel can fix them easily. Beyond that, I see little to gain.

On my Forster FL dies I just raise the shell holder-ram to top stroke and set the die just kissing it. This is not bumping the shoulder, just letting the expander ball do it’s job. This is the easy part as I just de-burred the flash hole and in and out chamfered then spun in a abrasive cloth, 250 pieces of Starline SRP 6.5 Creedmoor cases.
