resizing 30-06 and 270 cases

I have read a good bit on the subject of resizing 30-06 and 270 case for my 25-06 and it seems that I'm doing something wrong. I ran the 30-06 and 270 cases through my RCBS FL 25-06 die, then trimmed to length. The 30-06 cases come out with the same shoulder and everything measures almost identical to the 25-06 case but I made a dummy round and tried to chamber it in my 25-06 and I can't close the bolt. The 270 cases come out of the die less angle on the shoulder and I can't chamber a dummy round in the 25-06 either. What am I doing wrong?

try one with NO bullet...that will tell if it is a headspace problem...if it goes but wont go with a bullet ...then problably your neck thickness is tooooo much...measure a few and see.....what is the neck in your chamber...measure it...you have the gun .,,,take some measurements,,especially check the trim length.....Roger
