I received my proof print on the reamer/go-gauge from JGS, and all is a go there. Jasmine, at JGS is a pleasure to work with. Now the waiting begins. Still waiting on one of the three barrel manufacturers I want to get 6mm barrels in my twist and contour back in stock for purchase. Still no takers on a gunsmith to do the work though. . .either they're covered up in work, not interested, or just do not check their answering machines or emails. So I'm still on the hunt!!!

Not trying to be to flippant about your project, but most shooters that dive into something this involved usually do their own work or at the very least have a good friend that can.

I can sympathize with your frustration in not being able to find a person to tackle this. We live in a litigious world, leading many with the attitude of….”I would rather not get involved.

You might want to double check me but in one of your earlier posts you mentioned sending fired rounds to Whidden for dies. I believe they stopped doing that some time ago so they could just focus on making more “standard” dies.

If that’s the case it doesn’t leave you with many options, Warner tool and die would be the next one I would recommend but with the passing of Alan I don’t know where that leaves them as far as taking on work right now.

You may want to consider having JGS make you a resize reamer at the same time?
