Well our cops should have some range ammo for awhile. I agree, the whole thing seems a little too staged. Most drug busts on I-80 are not “routine traffic stops”. I’m wondering if they bought it all from 1 store or several. Some dude who can’t speak English buys $100k in ammo, probably pays cash, yeah good one.

I don't know what the answer is, but I am not in favor pf another 'card' that says I am allowed to buy ammo. Soon, every citizen (almost) will have a "Real I.D.". proof of citizenship is required to get that. As it stands now, you need to 'prove' you are 21 to buy handgun ammo, and 18 to buy rifle/shotgun ammo. Neither requires proof of citizenship, just shows age. A farmer is required (in OK) to show "Agricultural Permit" to buy things for the farm with no tax and the seller needs to have a copy of that permit. A company buying for re-sale needs to supply the seller with a copy of his tax permit, neither show citizenship. A government issued and current I.D. is required to vote in any election in OK. That does show citizenship but no copy is kept by the voting official doing the checking (soon, as the "real i.d." gets phased in, it WILL show citizenship). As per current law, age is the only restriction when buying ammo. Would a 'questionable' transaction alert me? Yes. I have shut down several firearms sales/transactions because I was not comfortable with the transaction. Cost me $$$ every time. If I've had a question about age during an ammo sale, I have asked for I.D. to be certain. Maybe a sale of XXXX number of rounds in a transaction should require positive I.D. (Real I.D. or passport). Not up to me to "make the rules'. As it is, multiple handgun sale requires a report form. I still maintain any ammo purchase by a non-citizen or legal immigrant be rewarded with a one way trip to El Salvador. Make the punishment harsh enough, few would risk it. American Citizens are already burdened enough 'proving' they are who they say they are. I donknow, placing more record keeping and more reporting on the seller will increase prices.

The most I have ever hauled out in one stop, 9000 rds(tac22 LR). Can't imagine being (money wise) able to purchase 180000 centerfire rds. Can there be enough on the Biden migrant EBT cards to cover the ammo bill?

Yeah nothing new......Mexico does make a lot of ammo. No need to buy
in the states. Plus quite a bit also comes up from the latin American
countries. More comes up from Honduras. We sell our surplus to them
for peanuts, and then Honduras sells to the cartels. strictly business.....
I'm 99.9% sure that ammo was not going to Mexico, but positioned

Ok, let's move on from the bozo's who are caught running around a few 1,000rds around in our country. Yes there are many reasons that, that may be happening. To think that this is something new, well it's been going on decades now. The cartels and all the people with warehouse"s full of money in every country around the world can buy their firearms and ammo by the ship load, not the van load.

The cartels to our south and in every country around the world have more money that their governments. To think that people in other country's don't buy the elected people in office there would be very short sighted at the least.

How many actually watched the posted Pod Cast??? In the first 40 seconds, the Pod Caster starts out by saying two illegals flew into Denver. They weren't illegal, they had Visa's. No one flies into Denver from another country without legal documentation. Have any of you gone through immigration after de-boarding, and if so, how far would you get without valid paperwork? There is far too much information being fabricated or using half truths.
