REMOVING MOLY FROM 155 MK and 142 MK

I have , about 500 bullets , moly coated , from years back when MOLY WAS THE
THING TO DO!
Any one , have a procedure that works best to remove it? Have tried a few , not getting what I want.

Tumble them in corn cob media.

It will come off. Usually 1/2 hour.

Terry, I have tried tumbling , vibrating , both up to 3hrs. Used Corn cob and walnut.

I have not tried a wet solution , surely someone has come up with a way .

Thank you for your Post , Dave

Soaking them in Kroil or a strong dishwashing solution overnight will loosen the moly. Once you dry them, tumbling will remove the remaining moly.

I just cleaned up about 1200 68gr Bergers coated with moly. I just used rice from the food store in a Lyman tumbler.

On your advice I used rice. Did a perfect job on them. No trace of Moly. 200 bullets about 2 hours. Stuffed peppers were a bit thin tonight, though.
