Removing Kiwi Neutral Shoe Polish From Action

Just bedded a cz 452,and I got raver carried away with the release agent(kiwi neutral shoe polish).
The action was covered in it,and it was even in the serial number.
I tried every chemical in the house to remove the polish.

Gun scrubber/no luck this usually dissolves every thing.
Kg 3 degreaser/no luck.
Zippo lighter fuel/no luck.
The wife's nail varnish remover/no luck.
I even tried to burn it off with a cigarette lighter.

The action looked a mess, and it was gray in color.
For some reason I sprayed with BROWNING LIAGE cleaning spray.
And as if by magic this stuff dissolved the Kiwi polish, and I have black action.

Just had to share.

I'd probably go with the brake cleaner too but mineral spirits should also work on shoe polish, it dissolves other waxes.

When I use kiwi shoe wax,I apply it then I buff it like a shoe lightly and bed it.It popped right out using marine tex.
