Removing Case Lube Help

I neck turned 100 pieces of .220 Russian brass, using Imperial lube inside the necks. I have already primed them and my powder is sticking to the walls of them. Do you have any suggestions for removing the lube ?
Mike

Dry tumble and you won't lose the primer, Anything wet like acetone or white gas and those primers need to be replaced, or the Q-Tip as mentioned above

I've had reason :( to remove live primers from cases. I did it carefully and slowly. Never had one go off. I even reused them with no failures to fire. Next time, always tumble after turning and sizing.

Lesson learned.
I used a Qtip with lacquer thinner, before priming them. Evidently I was just smearing the lube around and not removing it. Thought they were clean and primed them. Dropped powder and pieces stuck to the walls.

Q-tip or bore mop.

I have never tried to remove Imperial with any solvents. I just always wiped it off with a cotton cloth, or tumbled them in corn cob media. So I don't know what solvents will remove Imperial. Since it is more of a wax, wiping it off is probably best.

Mineral spirits removes wax.

Thanks to the OP. I think your post taught me why the guy in a video I just watched 2 days ago recommended dry neck lube. He never said why. From all the responses it sounds like a lot of people “been there, done that”.

Thanks for all the help guys!
I put a patch on a slotted rifle cleaning rod and spun it with a drill inside the case and it has been working well. Appreciate the suggestions very much.
Won't do that again.

Did the guy in the video recommend it for sizing or turning the necks? Never have used it turning necks. Have always used Imperial.
