Remington vs. Norma/Lapua head sizes?

I know that I read somewhere that the Remington 6BR brass is slightly smaller in head diameter than the Norma/Lapua brass in the same caliber, and that this difference requires a different reamer. I was explaining this to a friend and he said that he has not seen that information anywhere. Can someone point me to a reference for this information?
Thanks,
Boyd Allen

Boyd - I've heard the same thing, similar to the difference between Winchester and Norma/Lapua /284 brass. I would say the most accurate source of information would be to contact one of the better reamer makers as they deal with this sort of thing all the time. Dave Kiff at Pacific would be a good bet to e-mail,rather than take up too much of his shop time during a work day).

As a side note I'm planning on ordering his book of reamer drawings as a reference,

Most Remingtons I've used run .002 to .003 at the head smaller. Pretty good brass if your chamber is cut for it but the primer pockets just don't hold up like the Lapua. You also need to sort them by weight, but Lapua doesn't very enough for me to fool with.
