Remington model seven trigger

I got a model seven , will the 700 triggers fit? Or does it need to be model seven specific
All the top companies make a trigger for the 700, who is making bench quality triggers for the model seven
Thanks

Triggertech makes a model seven trigger, you can also modify a 700 to utilize the M7 bolt release with a bit of milling on the side plate…on the Triggertech anyway, I did do one before they started offering them

My son has a Model 7 and He put a standard Timney 700 trigger on it.

I was always under the impression that the model 7, 700 long, 700 short, 600, 660, 40x 721, 722 and do on so could use the basic model 700 trigger.

On the 600/660's the mounting holes, frame width etc are the same but the trigger shoe is more forward,
like a good 1/2 inch.
a 700 trigger will mount but wouldn't clear the trigger guard hole.I believe all the other actions are interchangeable though.
---------------
I've used a 700 frame and installed a 660 trigger shoe to make for a better 660 trigger since the adjustment screws have finer threads in the 700

Try a Jard
Or get on Ebay and find a Timney 501T, that was a legit nice light trigger, I have a couple of those.
Not a 2 ouncer but a very nice 8-12 oz with a nice adjustable trigger bar.
Since the trigger bar is adjustable you can even turn it around 180 deg and fit it in a Rem 600

Timney used to make some nice triggers, but I agree with you, they changed for some reason and their new designs are lacking in various ways.
They need to bring back things like the 500 and 501 T
