Remington Model 7 trigger upgrade

I have a custom Model 7 for prarie dog control and want a better lighter trigger...8oz if I can get there. I should have bought a jewel back then and really don't want a Jewel for model 700 that can't do bolt release. Any one have a jewel made for a 7 or can suggest another brand that gets under a lb? Thanx

Timney used to make a Calvin Elite trigger for M7s, with a standard shoe. They offer one now with a different shoe arrangement.

Timney Calvin Elite will adjust down to under 8 oz. And is very dirt tolerant. They offer curved, flat or a shoe trigger.

Thanks folks...questions
I suppose you need a gunsmith to do a side bolt release?
And I installed a rifle basix trigger...seemed fine but after 15 rnds in a dog town
, the sear would not stay engaged even after I completely adj all 3 settings? I confuse easily obviously.

Install a M700 trigger without the bolt release and use a screwdriver to push down the bolt release lever is an option.
