Remington model 7 Question.

Ok I have a question about the Remington model 7.

I have a bell and Carlson stock that is suppose to be for a Remington model 7 but the guy i sold it to said the bottom metal wont line up,.

My question to you that know, Did Remington change anything that would cause this when they "fixed" the trigger issue they had.
the reason I ask is he said his rifle was a fairly new rifle.

Dont think anything has changed. I put a brand new one in an hs prec stock ive had for 10yrs
