Please School Me on Rem Model 7

I've never owned the model 7, but I have had a couple 700's in my days and even a 722. Been thinking about getting a model 7 action for a varmint rifle build since they are a bit cheaper. What exactly is the difference between the 7 and 700 and what parts are compatible? Can a model 7 use model 700 stocks, triggers, bottom metal, and scope mounts? Thank you.

Seven's, XP-100R's, 600's,660's actions are basically identical.
Bolt Stops & bolt release levers differ between the Seven/XP-100R's & 700's.

Stock inlets & bottom metal differ between the Seven's & 700's.

You'll have more stock options with the 700's.

Seven's are handy little rifles.
1 piece 700 S/A scope bases fit the Seven.

The action is shorter, and all the stuff like stocks, mottom metal, etc won't fit and you have to order i t special, or do without - ask me how I know. :(

I built a bench gun on a XR-100 (Model 7 action), and while everything worked out in the end, I would not do it again.
