Remington ADL to BDL

I have a BDL Hogue pillar bedded stock for a Remington long action I have a long action ADL is it possible to make an ADL to a BDL and what would be needed to be able to use the stock or would I be better just to sell the stock or trade it

Yep, pretty straight forward...to go BDL you will need a trigger guard, magazine box, follower and spring. Sometimes referred to as "bottom metal". Most of the time you can find these used pretty reasonable when the owner switches over to a set up with a detachable magazine. Cheapest way to go that route appears to be the magpul set up these days. Brownell's sells the OEM parts. Follower and sometimes, depending on the caliber, there is a little spacer box that goes in the magazine box, but those are the only different specific parts I know of.

Did this a few years ago to my deer rifle, was a Remington LA ADL. Tired of unloading the ADL in the woods. I purchased the BDL pieces from the classifieds here, and sold the original ADL stock here as well. Just depends what you want to end up with, new or used bottom metal wise.
